About Laxmi Sat Isabgol

Isabgol is the Indian name for psyllium husk, the outer coat of Plantago ovata seeds and a natural source of soluble fibre. Laxmi has been selling isabgol in India for more than 65 years, and Sat Isabgol is its superfine grade, 100% psyllium husk with nothing added.

How to use

Stir the amount given on the pack into a full glass of water or milk and drink straight away, before it thickens.

Please note

Follow the directions on the package. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, are taking medication or are buying for a child, talk to your doctor before use. Stop use if you notice any unusual reaction. Take with a full glass of water (at least 200ml) and drink plenty of fluids during the day; taking psyllium without enough water can cause choking or a blockage. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing or a narrowing of the gut. Take other medicines at least 2 hours before or after. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
