About Mysore Sandal Gold

Mysore Sandal soap has been made since 1916 by Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL), the state-owned company in Bengaluru. It is made with pure sandalwood oil from the government’s own sandalwood supply, and the name Mysore Sandal Soap is protected by a Geographical Indication (GI) in India, much like Champagne in France. Gold is the premium line: it is enriched with natural sandalwood oil plus almond oil, so the lather feels creamier and the sandalwood scent lingers longer. The cream-and-gold box makes it a popular gift.

How to use

Lather on wet skin, face and body, then rinse. Let the bar dry on a draining soap dish between uses.
