About Mysore Sandal Soap

Mysore Sandal soap has been made since 1916 by Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL), the state-owned company in Bengaluru. It is made with pure sandalwood oil from the government’s own sandalwood supply, and the name Mysore Sandal Soap is protected by a Geographical Indication (GI) in India, much like Champagne in France. The classic green-box bar has been a fixture of Indian bathrooms for over a century. It lathers well, rinses clean and leaves a soft sandalwood scent on the skin.

How to use

Lather on wet skin, then rinse. Let the bar dry on a draining soap dish between uses so it lasts longer.
